My Alix1C was failing with disk operations,
I sent it to PC engines, they said it was a bad adaptor,
sent it back with a new one (and a chocolate)
and the problems disappeared.

I have also seen an ALIX1D rebooting for no reason with a generic adapter,
which disappeared after I replaced it with the original one.

I don't know if yours is the case too,
but would definitely try it.
