That's weird: I don't see "diskless installer" mentioned at all previous to these replies to me. Sorry, I guess I lose the game of "guess the problem I'm trying to solve!" I stand by my recommendation that if he wants to manually do the job of the installer, he should read the source code to the existing one. Philip Guenther
