What help? It's a docker container, ain't it? It will never give you problems. ;-) p.s.: I've recently installed gitlab from source and it's also an rails app. But they have a very good documentation on how to do it, and you can understand most of what is happening. Even though they are always advising you to use their "Omnibus" package.
