For thread subject's sake, just stay on FreeBSD and don't polute the discussion with your stupid unrelated problems, please. I hate to see somebody unrelated to subject jumping in the middle of an interesting thread. As far as I know Alexandre Ratchov is a main developer on OpenBSD's sound infrastructure, so I preffer to read his remarks not yours. Not to mention that you didn't seem to report your problem back then. Thank you.
