Will spamd work if /var/db/spamd is a symbolic link to a file on a RAM disk?
I noticed that spamd uses quite a bit of disk I/O (on a box that is bound by disk I/O). Is it safe to make a backup copy of the file while spamd is running? I'm willing to trade the possibility of losing 30 minutes of greylist data for a lower disk load. I couldn't find any docs on the format of the db file spamd uses and I couldn't figure it out from a quick scan of the spamd.c source. Awesome concept, btw. Thanks, m
