With the end of [EMAIL PROTECTED] and the start of BONIC I my contributions due to several reasons.

Although I haven't informed myself well about this stuff, my general understanding is that BONIC allows any computations to be done on your computer. While you do opt-in on certain projects there could hide other work within these work units. So you would have to give your trust to the BONIC people as well as the researchers that take advantage of BONIC's services.

Again, I haven't done much research regarding the validity of my reasoning. This brings us to my second reason for not running BONIC. I just don't want to mess with it and spend any time on it.

Finally, I want to give the M$ machines a chance to utilize the power-saving, hibernation, and all that crap. And for the OpenBSD servers I don't need anything else to take their resources away.

my .002 cents
