Not a full OpenBSD (you want 256MB unless you trim the installation). You can look at flashboot (which fits on a 4526-20) or flashdist, or you can mount root from an NFS server.

N.B. flash on 4526 and 4826 is soldered to the board, there's no socket. You need to PXE-boot to install the OS (easy to do with OpenBSD), and you can't change it for a larger card. If this might be a problem, you can consider 4501-30 (if it's from http://kd85.com/soekris.html, you could specify 'hole_rptnc' option) or 4511-30. These have a CF socket, 1 MiniPCI, and either PCI and 3 ethernet, or PC-card 2 ethernet and PoE. They don't cost much more than 4526 (but you do need to buy or recycle a CF card).
