I saw that link and I agree with it, but lets remember it only talks about the 
"install.conf" issue
There are other issues like the SHA256.sig and index.txt files that are not 
addressed in that patch.

I know, but I still think the distro ISO directory structure should not be 
architecture dependent.
Absolutely any automated tool dealing with a distro ISO benefits from a 
constant directory structure

That guy does something like Serva does and you are right.
the autoinstall feature cannot depend on the name of the NBP that's really bad.

Anyway as I said before OpenBSD is the only BSD flavor that is really close to 
have a distro ISO
that can be easily integrated in a automated PXE environment, and that means 
more people
giving it a try and getting it running in 5 minutes...

hopefully these tiny details can be polished in feature versions.
