I've been meaning to ask. Is there an intentional reason why the
directory is not browsable. I know fw_update works directly and the
full fw name works but I was hoping to be able to download any updates
once for all machines and haven't found an easy way to find the
firmware names?

I have no idea why RTFM is used so aggressively on LINUX mailing lists
because whilst 'apropos' is traditionally the most powerful command on
Unix-like systems it's 'modern' replacement 'apropos' on Linux is a tool
to help psychopaths learn to control their anger.
