Misc is the wrong place for this really. Anyway from the error message it looks like it's trying to allocate 8GB of ram when it fails, which seems very wrong.. What else is logged, or is this before even "Dovecot v2.2.7 starting up"? Would be best to re-post with this information added, at least to ports@, but probably to the dovecot mailing list.
