If this works, then you can probably also use http://tinyurl.com/9zna22
(design instructions at http://tinyurl.com/6yrqvt9) to connect your computer
to a powerline network. (Probably best to turn off the switch at the wall
socket before connecting it up - safety first!).

Also did you know you can use your tongue to detect incoming calls on a
phone line?!
