Hi, I have a problem with making sound work under OpenBSD. I have already read the FAQ, but not luck with those, :P. Here are all the datails:
I'm using OpenBSD 3.8, i386 platform. My motherboard is a SY-P4VGM one. http://www.soyousa.com/products/proddesc.php?id=273 My chip (VT8233) is supported. http://www.openbsd.org/i386.html My sound system is a 2.1 one. audioctl -a output: I noticed that, when turning on inputs.*.mute, I got not sound at all (turning off inputs.dac.mute solves the problem). The last thing: when I checked, Windows XP used IRQ 22, and OpenBSD is using IRQ 12. Well, hope you can help me (*and* understand me, :P). Good luck
