I've installed it without any problem and have not faced any screen flashing. Installing from -current bsd.rd worked even without framebuffer. After installation, framebuffer is present and working. But I've done everything with -current, I wasn't able to even boot without kernel panic (some ACPI related stuff) when using 5.3.
