Gobble, Gobble, Gobble!

Happy Turkey Day from Ivanhoe's newest Web editor! This week I have the
pleasure of filling in for Marjorie, and I want to take this opportunity
to inform you of Ivanhoe's latest additions. Over the next few weeks I
will be introducing news feeds and also podcasts to Ivanhoe's already
robust online resources. With Thanksgiving just a few sunsets away, our
days are becoming shorter and our time limited. These new features will
help you stay up-to-date with the latest medical news during this busy
holiday season. Go to Ivanhoe.com/podcast and check out Ivanhoe's
podcasts or subscribe for free to our newsreader feed.

The bells will ring, the kids will cry, and of course the grocery store
lines will be long -- ah the holidays. Does all this holiday cheer bring
you holiday migraines? Learn how botox injections may be the best
treatment for migraines and the best way to keep you moving during a
season that leaves no time for resting.

If you or someone you know suffers from fibromyalgia, our story on new
treatment for fibromyalgia and the pain that comes with the condition is
for you. Or maybe your concerns lay with depression. You've heard fish
oil is good for you, some studies even show it may prevent Alzheimer's
and heart disease. Now researchers say fish oil may help battle
MS-related depression.

Melanoma is a deadly skin cancer that will affect nearly 60,000 Americans
this year. Our report on a breakthrough for skin cancer discusses a new
enemy of the deadly disease. Along with new treatments for cancer, Gary
Stoner, Ph.D., a cancer researcher at Ohio State University in Columbus,
tells us how black raspberries fight cancer in this week's full-length
doctor's interview. Now you have an excuse to eat that extra slice of
berry pie this winter.

For those of you who need some work at being a better dad, this special
report will help you find ways to stay involved. Finally, if you worry
about whether your child is too young to watch TV, if they are watching
too much TV, or how TV affects them, then our story on kids and too much
TV is a must read.

You may want to check out two special reports in our fee-based Archives.
One is our September 2005 report, Beans, Nuts, Cereals may Fight Cancer,
and the other is New Treatment for Common Infection in Women. Premium
Content in the Archives may be purchased for as little as $9 for 24-hour,
unlimited access. If you would like to access Premium Content for the
first time click here.

Also, I'd like to encourage you to share your delicious holiday recipes
on our recipe discussion board. Best wishes to you and your family this
holiday season!

And there's more where that came from...
