Salim, that's quite strange. OpenBSD has worked on my Sun 4/110 desktop since 1995. And more recently, I've been using it on i386 and later even amd64 machines, as a desktop environment! It could just be some kind of hallucination. You know, I had this one dream of being tied up and injected with sodium pentothal...
