Maby I'm sidetracking the the topic a bit, but in the essence of sharing prior work I looked at compiling Heimdal 1.5.2 on what was then 5.1-current. I got it to build eventually but there are some problems where I just didn't know what direction was desirable to go in. I hoped someone from the heimdal camp would shed some light on the issues but sadly it has recieved no answers.
