Apparently calomel is full of bad and/or outdated advice for openbsd, especially the sysctl tuning stuff.
Your best advice is to follow the official FAQ's on openbsd.org, and read openbsd man pages to learn your techniques. Maybe there needs to be a calomel faq on openbsd.org.
