Hello, I'm trying to get a v5.0 system newly installed in a VM running on Debian v6 am64 (squeeze) to respond properly when I execute "virsh shutdown GUEST", which apparently sends an ACPI power-button-press event to the guest. I have acpi configured for the guest.
Currently, when I run the command, the guest hangs totally. All interactive sessions, including console are frozen, and the guest stops answering pings. It's not clear from the acpi(4) manpage what mechanism is/should be invoked for this event, and what can be, or must be, configured for it to work. thanks, Robert Urban
