They work fine but ksh defaults to treating the top bit as meta, so for instance e acute will be interpreted as M-i which isn't mapped. Try a simple "cat >/dev/null" and typing there. You can use "set +o emacs-usemeta" to change ksh's behavior. And "meta-key-mode" in ~/.mg for mg(1). -- Christian "naddy" Weisgerber na...@mips.inka.de
