Be nice to tne newbs!
sometimes being "nice" involves saying, "DON'T DO THIS".
This is one of those times.
When you see someone with the barrel of a gun pointed at their foot, you
are proposing helping them aim higher, making it easier to cock the
hammer and pull the trigger. I'm saying, "no, you might want to
understand the ramifications of your actions before you do this". If
this makes me a mean, heartless and selfish bastard in your definitions,
I accept that and call you a "nice, sweet person" -- in MY redefinition.
I've run mail servers ranging from around ten users to over 30,000
users. The best advice I can give "newb" about running a mail server is
"don't". There are lots of people who will sell you mail services on
properly maintained systems, and if they prove to not be properly
maintained, you can relocate elsewhere.
Showing them a well written tool, especially a
configuration interface, that they can follow the workflow of is
priceless to a busy admin or a busy programmer.
still waiting.
If this were a well done tool, the OP would not be stuck at an obsolete
version of OpenBSD (and all associated applications). I fail to see how
your statement is related to this thread.
