Hello! I'm running servers with "em" NICs. People on list reported things like "hwfeatures=8037<CSUM_IPv4,CSUM_TCPv4,CSUM_UDPv4,VLAN_MTU,VLAN_HWTAGGING,WOL>", I do not see such options in ifconfig output. neither man page on "em" says anything about check sum offload.
"em" are advanced cards, do they already do all things out of a box? do I have to make special tuning for TCO ? ifconfig also shows "media: Ethernet autoselect (1000baseT full-duplex,rxpause,txpause)", what is rxpause,txpause ? cheers, Ilya Shipitsin
