By disabling inteldrm at boot time, I was able to get one of the Supermicro mobos to boot OpenBSD 5.0. >From that instance, I used sendbug(1) to mail a bug report. From looking at the changelog http://openbsd.org/plus48.html I see that two changes were checked in between 4.7 and 4.8 related to inteldrm. Hopefully this helps the maintainer of that module to track down and fix the problem.
