hello fellow BSD'ers. I recently got some good news. it seems that I have been accepted into a formal training program at the Colorado Center for the Blind. this is a year long stint with Independent living skills, mobility training and computer skills training (using Jaws and windows 7, though there are also side courses on some of the unix like environments). I am due to start late in january.
Hopefully, I can also hit the local community college up there and get a certification while I am at it (such as a cisco cert or similar). I should have enough funds to get that add-on card that converts framegrabber output to an ssh session. that will give me the ability to be able to setup a machine from power-on to final OS configuration. By the end of this training, I should be ready to re-enter the workforce. thats my news. have some happy holidays. -eric
