I performed the mentioned steps. I even wrote
hw.setperf=10 in /etc/sysctl.conf but it couldn't
resolve the problem of CPU fan (running constantly).
Is it a bug in the operating system? (I'm not facing
this problem while running Windows or FreeDOS)
