He told me off-list that he was "emailing with some people who were trying to help" him. I don't believe that because it's extremely unlikely that anybody with a real clue would not have simply replied on-list telling him to at least describe the problem and supply a dmesg. Also his first message had a From: field that contained sales@$his.domain and his domain has no MX record. He just uses googlemail. halex@ pointed him at the openBSD support page.
