It seems I've followed the instructions labelled "2011/09/19 - thread model posix enabled for gcc 3" at http://openbsd.org/faq/current.html#20110919 and mistakenly so which is probably why userland wont build as that process has replaced gcc-4.x with gcc-3.x.
If indeed that is the case, the question is, how do I get gcc-4.x back ?
