You don't get it... you and Fritz both assume the Scots give a care about
what you think. You assume the rest of the world cares about your English
preferences.

You and Fritz got the arrogance part down pat.

I don't know if you realize this, but human language is an art, hence that's
why a degree in English language is called a "liberal" art.

Next thing I know, I suppose you want to get into a whinny-waving contest
about who is more "American." LOL.

Besides, do you really want to get into a discussion about who is more
"native" ?

If you really want to get into linguistics, bring it.
