If password is asked, ssh should be ok,
but you need to login with an account using another shell (ex csh or bash)
then you can resolv the issue.

so :
try to login with password authentification
if it fails : try connect with a user using another shell (csh/bash/etc...)
then su to root privileges & correct it.
if you cannot login at all, you need to go to a physical & boot single then
you
can resolv the issue.
