This is semi-OT, but how does that work, actually? I mean, I know how suspend to disk works in principle, but if it's done purely from the BIOS, wouldn't the BIOS need to know about (and use) a special partition to store the RAM contents? Otherwise, how would the BIOS know where to store the RAM contents in the absence of OS involvement? regards, --ropers
