Already wrong, in that you don't update your system from source, you update from nearest available binary. Building from source is something you do for giggles or self-punishment, not upgrading. However, are you saying you ran sysmerge, and sysmerge DIDN'T update this for you? I just verified on a system of mine that the Jul 19 snapshot's version of sysmerge had no difficulty updating the /etc files, including /etc/rc and populating /etc/rc.d Nick.
