Hi, Yesterday I downloaded and fresh installed amd64 snapshot. I tried to add some packages (xfce4-panel, xfdesktop, & leafpad) from ftp://ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/snapshots/packages/amd64/ (same ftp site I got the snapshot from), and I got error messages that "Error: Libraries in packing-lists in the ports tree and libraries from installed packages don't match."
This error is strange because I got this message even before any packages were successfully installed. So I assume "installed packages" means the base install. Thinking that the packages were out of sync with the snapshot, I tried installing from ports and got the same message. Port nload did build and install successfully. Next I download source tarballs and updated to -current, building kernel, userland, and xenocara (rebooting between each). Still got the same error messages. Since I thought maybe my original attempt to install from packages might have messed up some libraries, I reinstalled snapshot from cd, and updated to -current. Building port xfdesktop gave the error message below. Nload again built and installed fine, I assume there were no library conflicts there. I looked in http://openbsd.org/faq/current.html and did not see anything that could be causing this issue. Have I missed some step in upgrading to current (it worked for me in the past using the same method), or is there some issue with some libraries at the moment?
