Ahhh, there's the pity that BK (IIRC) used a signed variable for clock ticks. We would have had a 2K106 bug rather than a very close 2K38 bug if he didn't provide for useless negative time. Mind you if we let it now be an unsigned variable nothing would break and slight changes to programs that use it could update over the next 26 years to be ready. 6/6 hindsight is wonderful.
