I understood the idea, but please keep in mind that I'm just a regular user, not OS developer. I just pick features I find useful no matter how wrong they look. That was a "stop or go" kind of question because I do not want to spend a lot of time reading manual and experimenting with stuff just to end up in an environment I'm not comfortable with.
Now I have my question answered and I decided to give it a try. Thanks to everyone who replied.
