Not sure if this helps, but as far as I know this is the way you're supposed to do it for a 6to4 tunnel:

Sanitized, but you'll get the point:

$ cat /etc/hostname.gif0
tunnel LOCAL_IP DEST_IP
inet6 alias IPV6_NETWORK PREFIXLEN


My issue is that it still doesn't work 100% correctly on boot. If I "sh /etc/netstart" again, it begins working. Strange.
