I have a Soekris 5501 with a 1641 4 port card. The mobo has 4* vr(4) ports and the 1641 has 4* sis(4) ports
I'm just compiling 4.9-current and I wondered about which is the better for handling heavy traffic. I haven't done any load testing since both of those interfaces had some significant improvements around 1.5 to 2 years ago. Anyone can tell me which is the better one or maybe which is the least worst? (The "least worst" is my way to see whom I'll vote for in elections (-: ) R/ *** NOTE *** Please DO NOT CC me.
