Yes. That's what the "(S)hell" is for in
(I)nstall, (U)pgrade or (S)hell?
Since you only need to get the PBR, you can do the dd(1) step without
even mounting anything. You can then mount a floppy drive, USB memory
stick, etc. to copy over the PBR so you can get at it under Windows.
