I ran my home firewall off an Ultra5/333mhz... it was plenty fast for passing packets (used an fxp pci card for the second interface). Felt kinda sluggish for compiling, and disk I/O was pretty bleh. Not sure how it'd scale in terms of packets per second. cheers, Matt
