dvd+rw-tools doesn't have any gui, but it does burn dvd. In fact, it's what k3b uses to burn dvd. It works (more or less) under OpenBSD, I've burnt quite a few DVDs with it. I seem to have an issue with the end marker on them, but I don't know whether it comes from the software, the OS, the DVD-writer, or the DVD-reader on the machin I use to further test them. And I think Jacob Meuser is working on DVD authoring tools...
