i had a 600e and 600x at one point (still using the 600e actually) - i
recall i had to do bios crap with ps2.exe with irqs. i don't remember
exactly what it was - i did it once long time ago and my com port came
to life, and never have i looked back. however, i do recall that my com
port didn't even show up and yours does show up - but this was all many
many releases ago. i have no new experience - sorry.
