Looking in my heap of spare parts, it seems I am able to build a P4 bucket, this could be fun, though the motherboard only takes IDE/PATA drives, I scavenged 4x 250GB SATA drives so I'm on the lookout for SATA cards. I am not interested in RAID (or the lack there of in the SATA controllers) for this assembly.
Is there a specific vendor that one should honor buying new controllers. Experiences with ccd and SATA are welcome. -- // Johan
