This goes off-topic, but there must be something wrong. Somewhere. This is not default behaviour of Apache. Did some research on this two years back, on OpenBSD, P233 and 64 MB, to check its behaviour. It wouldn't crash, whatever requests and amounts came in. It would gracefully reject any request beyond its resources. If it does not (any longer), Houston has a problem. Uwe
