Hi, sorry, no answer to your question, but I have also encountered this "suddenly X crashes"-problem with mozilla-firefox, but running under ICEWM. I don't get a core dump as mentioned in the bug-report from yesterday, but an entry in Xorg.0.log and xdm.log like: "AUDIT: Sat Jul 16 13:35:27 2005: 8655 X: client 1 rejected from IP 127.0.0.1" I have no idea when this problem first started, I guess after the v38.0 libc flag day, but I'm not sure. If futher information about my system are needed like dmesg, Xorg.0.log, xdm.log, ..., let me know. Ulrich
