After taking all of your responses into consideration, from which I learned a lot, I reinstalled, and all is well, including slicing the disk the way I originally wanted. Already, I love OpenBSD! Before I rtfm, I've got to learn to read, I guess. Once again, to all, thanks! Dimitri
