I have used an LSI 150-4 card on 3.6 + "Mr Peereboom" ami patches and now on
3.7 (no extra patches as they are included) and have never ever seen a
problem. The part from my dmesg is like yours...
ami0 at pci2 dev 3 function 0 "Symbios Logic MegaRAID" rev 0x01: irq 10 LSI
523/64b/lhc
ami0: FW 713N, BIOS vG119, 64MB RAM
ami0: 1 channels, 0 FC loops, 1 logical drives
scsibus0 at ami0: 40 targets
sd0 at scsibus0 targ 0 lun 0: <AMI, Host drive #00, > SCSI2 0/direct fixed
sd0: 238414MB, 30393 cyl, 255 head, 63 sec, 512 bytes/sec, 488271872 sec
total

I have several machines with 150-4 with 3.7 and no problems at all. I have a
single 250GB mirror on all servers with a 7GB boot partition on them as
well.

You probably have weird 150-4 bios settings, faulty disks or other problems.
It is probably not an OpenBSD 3.7 driver issue. I do not think a snapshot
install will help you as I can only see new "bioctl" updates to the cvs.
