No, but it does mess up the ability of whoever is watching to remotely access what they thought was your keyboard. Sorta like being given a computer with ethernet MAC fe:ed:de:ad:be:ef:00:00, then switching it for a card with MAC 12:34:56:78:90:ab:cd:ef. Now your spy agency has to break into the place and find out what the new card is, otherwise they're not getting anything.
