Hello,

Well I was all excited about getting my new amd64 system, but it seems
to be slower than my pentium 3 system.

This is what it looks like when I was doing a make install in the ports system.

load averages: 1.17, 1.15, 1.14
                                             07:36:16
34 processes: 1 running, 32 idle, 1 on processor
CPU states: 12.9% user, 0.0% nice, 1.4% system, 85.7% interrupt, 0.0% idle
Memory: Real: 117M/381M act/tot Free: 1547M Swap: 0K/391M used/tot

The interrupt levels change a bit but still stay above 80% :(

I think my motherboard is not fully supported. It has sata, but I am
not using it. Just simple old school ata100. For a better right up of
my motherboard check out

Dmesg is attached below.

Thank you to anybody that can help and let me know if you need more info,

Richard
