Hi
Has anyone got any advice for installing apache2 on openbsd 3.6 (stable). There seems to be a port for freebsd but nothing for openbsd. If I start from the apache source what kinds of things will I need to change?

Stick with the base install. You will be much better off, plus it's been improved and continue to be. Bug fix, audit, clean up, etc. You want something stable and secure, stick with the base one.

May be this should provide you a clue as to what's best to run on OpenBSD:

dev1# diff -ru apache_1.3.29 /usr/src/usr.sbin/httpd | wc -l
   32582
