Guys, On the latest Zesty archive miral-shell has been broken by a standard library update. (https://bugs.launchpad.net/miral/+bug/1677550)
This exposed a latent bug in the default window manager which now crashes on startup. (Using miral-kiosk or 'miral-shell --window-manager tiling' avoids the problem). There's a fix in silo 2676 awaiting QA (and will hopefully land sometime soon).
