Hi all,
Just a quick note to announce that testnet1 is out! It's still at the
build-it-yourself stage and has a lot of known (and likely unknown) issues. But
it will allow us to start testing the existing codebase in a live environment.
To get started, yeastplume has updated the build guide, just make sure you
build the source from the milestone/testnet1 branch:

As I'm sure there will be issues, make sure to report them with as many details
as possible on Github, including logs (grin.log). We won't be able to send any
transaction before about 12:30pm UTC as it takes 1000 blocks for block rewards
to become spendable. At which point I will make fake grins rain on everyone who
wants đŸ˜€
