Thought you guys might get a kick out of this, might be old news but I just heard about it.
pretty ingenious ... they keep news in host txt dns install cowsay ( I guess you could do it without .... but whats the fun in that ? ) edit ~/.bashrc to inlude # is the internet on fire status reports host -t txt istheinternetonfire.com | cut -f 2 -d '"' | cowsay -f moose and BOOM you have a moose telling you why your day is going to arduous every time you open a terminal = )
